You’ve probably heard of countless weight
loss supplements and solutions over the course of many years, each one of them
allegedly being the best there ever was. Unfortunately for many people, most of
the weight loss supplements which are available on the market are either
ineffective or simply not worth the money or the trouble for all the nefarious
side effects they cause. However, quite recently there has been a tremendous
breakthrough in this industry in the form of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG),
and it didn’t take long for HCG weight loss programs to start popping up left
and right.
What is HCG?
What in the Lord’s name is that thing?
Well, HCG is a naturally-occurring hormone in the human body secreted by women
during their pregnancy. Why is that? HCG basically helps women to regulate
their production of estrogen and progesterone. And so how precisely is it meant
to help one with weight problems? Well, as Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, the one who came
up with the first HCG diet explains it, when HCG is used in a normal body which
is not pregnant it acts upon the brain’s hypothalamus, suppresses your appetite
and forces your body to extensively dig into its fat reserves before using
anything else in order to create energy.
The results? You are not only eating less,
but your body is automatically burning up any excess fat, regardless of whether
or not you are actually exercising. There are many people who report making
some drastic losses in the first two to four weeks of usage, some of them
claiming that they have lost between twenty and thirty pounds, just by adding
HCG to their lifestyle, which bring us to the next point, the HCG weight loss
programs.
The HCG Programs
As mentioned above, Dr. Simeons is the
first one to have put an HCG diet into place, and in it HCG drops were used
alongside a very strict diet which allowed only for the consumption of five
hundred calories per day (the average human needs 1500 to 2000 calories per day
in order to remain as it is). Needless to say, while the diet was very hard to
follow for certain people, those who made it through benefitted from tremendous
weight loss.
The good news is that Dr. Simeons himself
as well as certain other weight loss experts realized that having people eat
five hundred calories a day and expect them to lead a normal lifestyle,
especially in today’s world, is hardly something doable. And so, other versions
of the HCG diet started popping up, revolving around regimes which allow the
consumption of 750, 1000, 1200 or even 1500 per day. Of course, the higher the
amount of calories consumed, the slower the results come, but the easier the
program is to go through with.
If you are having trouble losing weight and
are looking for that extra something that will give you the kick you need to
finally start shedding those pounds off yourself, then you should definitely
look to invest yourself into some kind of HCG weight loss program, or at least
do some more research on what it has to offer; from time to time discoveries
